Underrated Comic Book Characters Fans Would Still Love to See Appear
Comic books can bring in as many characters as they want and can also wholly ditch characters at their convenience. But some comic characters remain underrated no matter how good and well-written they are. Those characters just need reconsideration by the readers to understand the character’s potential.
Here are the most underrated comic book characters.
Doctor Voodoo
Doctor Voodoo, aka Brother Voodoo, can be considered equal to Doctor Strange. At one time in the comics, he was the Sorcerer Supreme. This character didn’t get the attention it deserved in the comics.
He is one of Marvel’s greatest compassionate and powerful heroes, and he is powerful enough to have his TV series.
The Wrecking Crew
The Wrecking Crew is a victim of obscurity. This crew was powerful enough to take on the mighty Thor. This team had members with magic-based abilities. The only understandable issue with this crew is they are not handled well.
The creators did not upgrade the design of the team. That is why adapting them to any ongoing Marvel lineups has been very difficult.
We can’t blame the readers here for underrating the Wrecking crew. The creators will have to update the design and story of the Wrecking crew to make them popular.
The Hood
The hood is another underrated comic book character. This character was a part of the Dark Reign, where he worked alongside Norman Osborn. The hood had a tragic upbringing. But he was ambitious and was in pursuit of dominance. It’s sad to see this character fall into obscurity.
Many comic characters stay underrated because readers cannot understand them. But reading the comics from a new perspective can bring them into life.
