Over the years, there have been a number of memorable comic book moments that will be recognized as high points in the stories of our favorite characters. The following aren’t any of those. Professor X’s Mind Combines With That Of A Pigeon

Professor X (who is walking) is about to get into a car in X-Men Legacy #211 when he detects a shooter nearby. So, he enters the mind of a nearby pigeon to peer through its eyes and find the sniper, then mind controls an entire flock to crowd the gunman, causing him to lose his aim long enough for Xavier to drive away safely.

This is an unusual trick given the Professor’s superior intellect. This is evidenced by Xavier’s admission that he should be ashamed of what he’s doing and should definitely devise better strategies next time.

Swimsuit Specials from Marvel

We know that the Joker behaves erratically. But there’s one thing we never thought the Joker would do: consume an entire population. The Clown Prince dupes Mister Mxyzptlk into giving him 99 percent of the 4th dimensional imp’s powers in Emperor Joker from the year 2000. That’s a lot if you’re not familiar with Mxyzptlk’s character.

The next day, a fully grown Superman appears, unaffected by their strange hypnosis. It turns out that superbaby was from a parallel world and was undergoing identical tests, he quickly realized.
